After a very successful time as a band, TEARDOWN has finally called it quits. After failed attempts to replace the singer (Ron), the drummer decided to move onto other aspects of life (family, career, etc..).  This left us no choice but to end the band. We thank everyone for all the support given over the years, and we are happy with all that we accomplished. We've played many great shows, released 2 CDs by Final Stand Records, had our music played on major radio stations, had our ads featured on jameyjasta.com, and created a stir within the Hardcore and NS Hardcore scenes.  We hope that at the very least we have shown the hardcore scene that there is also talented NSHC bands, and there are other options instead of listening to only left-wing hardcore bands that shout nonsense. Stay strong and keep pushing forward!

The Teardown Myspace page was just removed by the Myspace owners for no apparent reason. This is the second time it has been removed. Right now we're unsure if we'll put another one back up. Of course, all information and contact can be found on this website.

We are still searching for a singer. Those interested should write us at TeardownHC@hotmail.com

1.20.07

Last week we parted ways with our long-time singer Ron. Although no one reason is to blame, there was a difference of opinion on the band direction and responsibilities. Therefore we are currently looking for a singer. If you are interested in trying out and think you can fill the spot, contact us at TeardownHC@hotmail.com.

Before you contact us, please review the  few requirements for the singer position:

1. Must like to sing NS hardcore and/or metalcore style of music.

2. Must be willing and able  to practice in Philadelphia area once per week

3. Must be willing and able to play shows on an average of once per month, with possibly doing shows overseas at least twice per year (requires extended weekends).

4. Must be willing to record.

5. Must show enthusiasm and dedication to the band, and be willing to progress and strive for perfection.

Our music style is heavy hardcore, and we are a very dedicated band. We need someone that is also dedicated and loves to play music.

We just played a great hatecore concert last weekend in Czech Republic, with the bands Fear Rains Down, Path of Resistance, Race Riot, Before the War, and Ecce Mors. All the bands play excellent, and the show was a huge success. The sound system was awesome and very loud! About 400 fans came out in support of the bands, and we all had a great time. We very much like to thank the organizers for bringing us to play. It was a great experience and very fun. We've added some pictures of the show on our photos page.

We have just booked a show for December 30th in Bethlehem, PA with the band DXM and others. See our shows page for details.

There is a false rumor and advertisement going around about Teardown playing in Italy in February, 2007. There is a hatecore show scheduled in Italy in February with the bands Hate For Breakfast, SPQR, Feher Torvney, and Path of Resistance. Teardown and Fear Rains Down are NOT playing this show.

11.12.06

A big hatecore concert is scheduled for November 18 in Czech Republic. Bands include Teardown, Race Riot, Path of Resistance, Before the War, Fear Rains Down, and more. We are also working on booking some more shows in our area, as well as overseas.

9.17.06

We've added another show for October. We are still constantly booking shows. If you want us to play in your area, send us an email, and also contact your local club and demand that they book us!

We have restocked our mini CD "Honor.Knowledge.Determination." This is a limited-pressed CD (only 2000 pressed: 1000 with gold disc imprint and 1000 with silver disc imprint). We were sold out, but we were recently able to get a few from a distributor that had some left over.

8.16.06

We have many shows line up for the fall. See our shows page for details.

7.21.06

We have been steadily practicing and writing new material, as well as preparing for shows. We have a few scheduled, including one next weekend in PA, as well as a few this coming Fall. We are working on doing another concert in Europe before the end of the year. We'll post details as they become available. Our full-time bassist was recently put on house arrest for parole violations, but luckily we have a good friend to fill in to keep us going.

2.4.06

Last weekend we headlined Uprise 2006, which was a great show. Over 200 people came out in support, and all had a great time. The pit was going crazy, and it was one of our heaviest shows so far. Thanks to Final Stand Records, Empire Falls, Straighlaced Nightmare, Grand Belials Key, Those Opposed, and Wotanorden for an awesome concert and good time.

There is talk of doing some more European shows this coming summer and fall. We're trying to work on the details and figure the places we plan to play. There is also talk of doing a few more shows here in America in spring and summer as well. We'll keep you posted.

We're still working on new material for a second full length album. We will try to post one or two rough recordings in a couple weeks so you can get a preview of what's to come on. It promises to be even harder and heavier than 'Against the Dying Light'.

9.14.05

We've done a few shows this past summer, and have been working on new material. We're getting ready to play a show in Europe, and there is talk of a hatecore concert in late January 2006 that we'll playing with a few other well known bands. Besides that, we're working on getting a few shows lined up for the Fall. Most of our shows have been in the PA - NJ area, but if you are in a different area, and would like to see us play, then send us an email at TeardownHC@hotmail.com. Let us know the local venue that does HC shows, and we'll try to get on a bill to play. Or, you can talk to organizers and clubs in your area and tell them you want TEARDOWN to play.

We have been doing a lot of interviews lately for various zines. If you have a magazine, and would like to interview us, please email it to us. In order to get the interview finished quicker, we ask that you do not direct the questions to any one band member. Instead, questions should be directed to the band in general. Thank you.

Got a new website going. Just changing our appearance a bit. It's still progressing, so some shit doesn't work yet. We don't have any shows lined up for the immediate future, but we are working on a few later this year. We did many in the late part of May and June, so we're taking a break to clear our heads. We're going to work on new material over the summer, and try to have some new stuff to play in the fall.
